The brave ones, 1 2 3 go for the beach of Anse Trabaud! Facing the Atlantic Ocean, the access to this beach is delicate and must be earned! Rocked by the noise of the waves, you can find serenity and calm. Waves that attract many surfers. Thus, you will be able to admire prowess, mistakes and so on!
On the South Atlantic coast of Martinique, the beach of Anse Trabaud is not very frequented because of its rather difficult access. A hard track allows reaching it in about 15 minutes. On the road, you will cross a private property at the gate. You will have to pay a €2,50 entrance fee per car. (Opening hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., departure at 6:00 p.m.) The beach is over a kilometer long and is often battered by waves, making it popular with bodyboarders and surfers. Most of the time, the current is weak and the waves are safe for children.
In the shade of the small trees that line the beach, a few wooden tables and benches welcome you for a picnic. It is also a good beach for hanging hammocks.
