Tourcrib - What is it?

Tourcrib is an online platform of tourist activities that allows you to discover the island as only locals know how, with authentic experiences offered by local guides who are committed to presenting Martinique to you.

What is an experiment?

An experience is a moment of sharing in the form of a tourist activity proposed by a local guide and validated by Tourcrib. It is a human experience of sharing and conviviality that allows travelers to discover the culture of the island, for real.

What kind of experience can I book on Tourcrib?

These moments of life are proposed either by a professional guide or by a passionate local. Whatever the case, they are all centered on sharing, human relations and discovery.

The objective is common: to live the most authentic and memorable experience in the heart of Martinique, whatever your desires!

We have guides and local experiences all over the island of Martinique.

Is there a reservation fee?

Yes, for every reservation on Tourcrib, a service fee applies. The fees vary depending on the price of the experience and are absorbed into the selling price.

The service fee allows us to make authentic experiences visible by optimizing the platform while supporting a local association.

Can I also become a Tourcrib guide?

Totally! You can become a local guide by filling out the local guide form.

Registration and profile

How to register on Tourcrib?

Just click on the orange "register" button at the top right of your screen. This will allow you to create your user account using your email address. Then, follow the simple registration process. Simple, because your registration will take you no more than 5 minutes!

Once you're done, all you have to do is book the experience of your dreams.

How do I change my account settings or profile?

You can review your profile information at any time. Such as your password, phone number, profile picture, etc.

Do I have to put a profile picture?

It's not mandatory, but it's always more friendly :)

Booking

How do I book an experience?

Tourcrib's reservation system is designed to be as simple as possible.

Start by selecting the experience you wish to book or for which you would like more information.

Then, choose a date and a time slot. 

Third, select the number of people participating in the adventure and fill in your payment method

Finally, click on "Send Reservation Request".

Why use Tourcrib to book an experience?

Booking through Tourcrib allows you to be covered by our cancellation policy.

It also avoids any potential friction around money during your experience with the local guide. You only have to do three things during the experience: enjoy, enjoy and enjoy with confidence.

Moreover, booking on the platform allows you to help a local association of trust, active in Martinique.

Are there any experiences...?

If you have any doubts about the characteristics of an experience or its adaptability to your desires (Family activity? Children under 3 years old? Allergic to gluten? etc.).

How do I find my local guide?

By custom, the local guide specifies the meeting point in the details of his experience. In any case, the guide will confirm it to you once the reservation is validated. We always give him a reminder of the information he must give you at all costs.

I can't see the email and phone number of my local guide, is this normal?

The e-mail and phone number will be given to you directly after the confirmation of the reservation.

How do I know if a local guide has seen my reservation request or responded to me?

Once the guide has responded to your booking request, you will receive an email informing you of their decision. Be sure to check your junk mail.

A local guide sent me a message, what do I do?

Log in to your account, and respond quickly!

He may receive other requests for reservations from other adventurers. You could lose this experience opportunity!

How long does it take a guide to answer me?

We encourage local guides to respond as soon as possible!

If you do not receive a response within 48 hours of your request, do not hesitate to contact the platform's support service.

What happens after I book my experience?

Once the booking process is completed, you will automatically receive a booking confirmation by e-mail. From that moment on, the contact information of your local guide will be available to you.

What if my local guide doesn't show up?

If this happens, please try to contact the guide again by phone. If you are unable to reach the guide, please fill out the "report an incident" form.

Terms of payment and cancellation

What payment methods are available on Tourcrib?

You can pay by debit and credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and Diner's Club.

When do I have to pay for my experience?

The payment of the experience is done on the Tourcrib platform at the time of the reservation.

As soon as the local guide validates your reservation request, we will take the amount indicated.

The wording of the transfer will be as follows: Tourcrib #{Reservation reference}

This way, there is no need to discuss the subject of money when you meet your local guide.

Please note that the transactions on TOURCRIB are 100% secure thanks to our payment partner Mangopay.

If I don't receive an invoice, what should I do?

If you do not receive an invoice within 48 hours of the experience, please contact support.

What are the cancellation conditions?

Our cancellation policy has been designed to be fair and equitable to both you and the local guides:

24H after booking: Full refund if cancellation is made within 24 hours of the guide's confirmation

Up to 3 days before the start of the experience: Full refund if cancellation is made 3 full days before the meeting time stipulated in the validated offer (local Martinique time if not specified)

Less than 3 days before the beginning of the experience : 50% of the total amount will be refunded if the cancellation is made less than 3 days to 24H before the appointment time stipulated in the validated offer (local time).

I have to cancel my reservation, what do I do?

Log into your account and go to "My Reservations". Select the experience you want to cancel and in the conversation window, click on "Cancel".

What if I have a problem with my payment?

How to report an incident?

To report an incident, please fill out the support request form.

Security and trust

What if I have a bad experience with a local guide?

Contact us at [email protected] to explain the facts.

We will conduct an investigation and take appropriate action. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, you may be eligible for a full refund.

Why do I need to provide my phone number?

Your phone number is required so that we can :

Notify you of information and news about your reservations

Allow the guide to contact you directly

 Your number will not be communicated to third parties without your prior and explicit consent.

How is the security of the information provided on TOURCRIB guaranteed?

We guard your information carefully: it is stored and encrypted securely in our database. 

We make every effort to keep your data safe and to provide you with the best protection. It is not shared with any third party other than the guides you choose to interact with.
