Lovers of nature and wild places will be conquered by Anse Grosse Roche! A moment away from everything in a decor worthy of a desert island awaits you. Anse Grosse Roche is located in the southern part of the island, on the Atlantic side at Cap Macré (Le Marin). After a twenty minute walk on a path between vegetation and cactus you arrive on the beach.
The beach is about one kilometer long. Fine sand, blond, turquoise water, coconut trees, the scenery is sublime! And above all, nobody on the horizon.

Because of its location on the Atlantic coast, the wind often blows on this beach. It is therefore recommended being careful when swimming, especially for children. The small particularity of the site, it is its rock dug in the shape of a heart. The different rock formations make it an interesting site if you like photography.
Anse Grosse Roche is a site preserved in its raw state, a real wilderness. You will enjoy taking yourself for a castaway for a day. An enchanting place that invites you to laze around, far from the crowds.

The access to Anse Grosse Roche is done from the town of Le Marin by going to Sainte Anne, or vice versa. You have to take the direction of Cap Macré. Once on the spot, a short walk of 20 minutes awaits you. Nothing difficult to foresee, and the path is very pretty.
Parking: A small parking lot is available once you arrive at Cap Macré. The path to the beach starts from this parking lot. Access to the beach by car is impossible.
