In order to enjoy this open air aquarium, don't forget your fins, mask and snorkel! Martinique's aquatic fauna and flora await you. You will be able to admire corals and their inhabitants, tropical fish, starfish, sponges and other sea urchins. Be careful, the whole area is protected, so fishing is forbidden!
This is for the aquatic part. If you are more of a hiking enthusiast, you will enjoy the place as much! Indeed, a path allows you to discover the nearby Morne Aca. Be careful, it climbs! But the view from the top is well worth your efforts to climb the stony ascent that leads to it. The summit offers a unique panorama on the bay of Marin.
Map & access to Pointe Borgnèse
The beach is located between Sainte Luce and Le Marin on the national road 5. A small parking lot marks its location. You must then go down to the beach via a small steep and stony path for about 5 minutes.
Parking : Be careful, the small parking lot on the side of the road is quickly full. It is best to visit during the week, as the place is well known to the locals and the parking lot fills up quickly.
