The SaintEsprit is a rural commune of Martinique located in the center of the island. It is located in the heart of the land, between the communes of Ducos and François. It is certainly central, but it remains quite far from the main roads of the island.

Its name comes from the religious practice on Martinique. It is a commune which is turned towards agriculture, but the green tourism seems to develop there. The town is surrounded by lush vegetation and enjoys the wettest climate in southern Martinique (this is also why the vegetation is so present and so beautiful).

The Saint-Esprit is not recommended on any tourist guide, but when you travel, I advise you to make a detour, because this town also has a unique environment on the island that you can appreciate through the roads that will take you there. Le Morne baldara will offer you a beautiful point of view and its church is very pretty. In addition to all these beautiful landscapes, the museum of arts and popular traditions is to be visited.

The tourist interest of the commune is very weak, but you will be able however to stop there a few hours in order to contemplate some typical houses or the imposing town hall marrying a colonial style and dating from 1924.
