Some practical information about the Gorges de la Falaise

The Gorges de la Falaise is a 1 km hike along the Falaise River.  It is not an excursion that requires a lot of time, apart from the drive to the communes of CAP Nord Martinique. It lasts one hour, with a difference in altitude of 80 m.

No need to block a particular day in your already busy week to discover the island of flowers. The trail is open from Monday to Sunday, from 8 am to 5 pm (last departure at 4 pm).

Access is not free (Adult 7 €; Child 4 €). It requires the accompaniment of a guide to ensure your safety throughout the walk. It can be done with family or friends for more fun!

As mentioned, access to the hiking trail must be accompanied by a guide. Indeed, safety is a must in the vicinity of the waterfall. The trail may be closed in case of heavy rain. Be sure to call ahead of your visit to guarantee your activity in the heart of this lush paradise.

The pure water is at a pleasant temperature of 22° (ideal on hot days in Martinique!). Go from streams to streams and then to real swimming pools. The most adventurous will be able to show their diving skills, you arrive in front of a waterfall of several tens of meters high. A real natural Italian shower. A guaranteed photo spot!
