What to expect with Meri

Let's go together for a day to meet the northern part of the island where we will go to see the volcano, from the starting car park of the hike. We will stop at the church of Balata to admire its fabulous architecture which draws its inspiration from the Sacred Heart Basilica in Paris.

Otherwise, we will visit the historical city of Saint-Pierre, the first capital of Martinique in the past, we will be interested in the ruins full of history and we will discover the Franck Perret museum.

Finally, we will visit the Depaz distillery and its beautiful garden. You will be treated to a rum tasting and it will be an opportunity to buy souvenirs for those who wish.

Otherwise, I can pick you up anywhere else in Martinique but this will be subject to an additional charge.

Mary, the owner of Anoli Tours, was our driver and guide and she was wonderful. We had a great day of sights visiting gardens, the Pompeii of the Caribbean, historic sights, and a fantastic, authentic lunch. Mary speaks many languages, she is knowledgable, friendly, great sense of humor, good driver, this tour met all of our expectations and more. Hands down would recommend her and absolutely no reservations about the tour and her. Wonderful day was had by all.

Mary was senational to work with through out - she arranged a totally customized day for us including St Pierre and the Gardens. She was responsive throughout - she is knowledgeable, interest and even her transportation was great. Very highly recommend her

She is a lovely and knowledgeable guide, sharing her experiences on the island. Her English is excellent, as are her driving skills - necessary on a tour of the island with many winding roads. We enjoyed the new museum dedicated to the eruption of 1902, the distillery, and the visit to the mountain - even though it was fogged in.
