What to expect with Fernand

For half a day, I suggest you accompany me through the streets of Saint-Pierre where we will make several stops so that I can tell you the history and anecdotes of each important place we will come across in the former capital of Saint-Pierre.

Starting from the coastline, we will cross the Roxelane River by the bridge that crosses it in order to get to the Saint-Pierre Fort Church, where we will make a stop to appreciate the vestiges of the old times. We will then head for the former Colonial Health House and the Engineering Office.

I won't tell you more, none of my walks are like those of the day before. Come with me and take a step back in the extraordinary history of the commune of Saint-Pierre, which was turned upside down by the eruption of 1902.

What to bring

Comfortable shoes, a hat or cap, sun cream and a bottle of water!

Notre guide est quelqu'un d'investi qui connaît bien l'histoire de Saint-Pierre,de la tragédie qui a touché cette ville le 8 mai 1902.il m'a donné envie d'aller plus loin dans l'histoire de la Martinique et j'ai appris que ma ville de naissance Bordeaux a contribué à la richesse de cette ville dans ces années de prospérité et en a également bien profité....
