The fastest among you will take the Grande Savane trail (du Prêcheur), the shortest but also the steepest. If you like to take your time and have a good physical condition, choose the Morne Macouba trail (from Grand Rivière). The Aileron trail (from the 1st Morne Rouge hut to 820 m) is accessible to average hikers. On this trail, you will alternate between some steep slopes, rock climbing and fern forests. When you reach the first plateaus, punctuate your walk by the beautiful loop of the Caldeira before reaching the Chinese summit. These are undoubtedly the most beautiful excursions of the island!
