What to expect with Meri

Let's go together for a visit of the North Atlantic. First, we will explore the magnificent Caravelle Peninsula and its unparalleled biodiversity (387 hectares). We will then head to the Château Dubuc, a ruin dating back to the 17th century. And not far from there, we can go to the superb lighthouse built in 1862 from which we will have a magnificent view of the south of the island and the peninsula.

We will then pass by Tartane and its fishing village before heading to the iconic Tombolo de Sainte-Marie to make the crossing on this sandbar to reach the ilet de Sainte-Marie (possible between January and April). Otherwise, we will go to the Morne des Esses, a traditional Amerindian weaving center, which will be an opportunity for you to bring back some souvenirs.

To crown this beautiful day, we will go to the Saint James distillery to visit its rum museum and especially to taste some spirits!

What to bring
