Useful information before leaving

The current spread of the coronavirus requires an effective sanitary protocol, both for the island and for its visitors. Although the compelling reason is no longer in effect in Martinique, precautions have still been taken for everyone's safety. The vaccination pass is important if you want to travel safely on the island.

Please note that unvaccinated travelers can spend their vacations there under certain conditions: a seven-day self-isolation is required upon arrival. A negative PCR test at the end of these seven days will be considered as a visa to stay, apart from the one you usually have to get. Once you have passed this stage, your adventure begins. A mysterious meeting in Saint-Pierre

The town of Saint-Pierre hides some extraordinary treasures on the southwest coast of the Caribbean. A real underwater attraction that invites you to a snorkeling or diving trip a few meters from the beach. After having equipped yourself with a mask and a snorkel, dive to attend a show.

Manman dlo, a giant sculpture of more than 20 tons welcomes you at the bottom of the water. Not far from her stands Yémaya, a huge mermaid of 12 meters long who, according to myths, watches over the Caribbean Sea. Beware, because these statues are not natural inhabitants of the Caribbean Sea.

They are only artificial works imagined by a Martinique artist who answers to the name of Laurent Valère. These goddesses of the deep were immersed in water to pay tribute to women, while raising awareness of the respect for the sea. 

An unusual night in Sainte-Luce

After an active day of pedal boating, jet skiing or kayaking on the beautiful beaches of Gros Raisin or Anse Mabouya, experience starry nights in a bubble. A small underwater motorcycle with electric propulsion will do the trick.

This towed buoy is called the Seabob. A marine scooter that allows you to move fluidly in the water and on the surface of the sea. The Seabob is easy to handle and suitable for children over eight years old. It moves at a speed of 20 km/h and submerges up to 2.5 meters below the water. A paragliding flight at Cap Chevalier

You like paragliding? It is possible to practice it in Martinique, more precisely in Sainte-Anne. From Cap Chevalier, fly over Anse Au Bois and admire from the top its lagoon well protected by a coral barrier. Widen your view to the shore, where you can see beautiful white sand beaches. Nearby coconut and grape trees provide a unique backdrop to add a touch of greenery to your view.
